Yuppies & Puppies

My name is Loni and this is my dog, Zoe. We live in Belgium (I’m originally from the US). I took this photo when Zoe was six months old and she is now a year and a half. Her mother was Border Collie and we think her father was Rhodesian Ridgeback.  The thing I love about Zoe is the size of her heart. At dog school Zoe will play with all the dogs. She tries hard to make them like her and will gently sniff and even go belly up for the dogs who don’t like her. One dog named Zinny even tried to bite her but Zoe kept on trying to make friends and to the amazement of the Zinny’s owner, the dog now loves Zoe. I love how Zoe wasn’t afraid to keep on trying and she knew somewhere in her heart this dog was good and could be a good friend of hers. This is only one example of Zoe making friends with dogs that aren’t always friendly at first and it makes me happy that she is so patient and loving towards any dog.
